Jennifer McBride After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University, Jennifer went to work for a Richmond advertising firm doing PR, marketing, and event management. Not long after, she decided she’d like to try the business for herself, and opened Occasions.  Now, with five years of event designing experience, she has worked on events all over Virginia, Maryland, and the Carolinas; and is especially familiar with Richmond, Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia. Jennifer is knowledgeable, established and respected in her industry. Jennifer says her favorite part of an event is “When a client sees the venue for the first time and their face lights up with emotion. Once a client realizes that all of the hard work and planning have come together and their expectations have been exceeded, I’m just thrilled.” |
 | Dee Kirchmier After always being the one to organize events with her friends Dee Kirchmier decided to take her knowledge of planning and special events to the next level. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Mass Communications, with a degree focus on Public Relations, Dee is no stranger to event planning and management. With over 50 weddings in the Richmond and surrounding areas under her belt this year, Dee has come full circle. From start to finish she is there with you every step of the way. Energetic and professional, she enjoys acting as a concierge to our clients. According to Dee, "there is no better feeling than sharing in the details of a client's special day, and hearing Thank You after its all come together!" |

Amy Thomas Initially gaining experience working as an intern, Amy was confident in pursuing her interest in the event planning business. She has been with Occasions since 2006 and enjoys acting as a concierge to our clients. Amy says the most rewarding element of an event is “having the opportunity to work with clients and their families during such a happy time in their lives” |
